How Often Are New Versions Released? [Back]

The "dm Fotolumea mea" software is usually released once a year - precisely when depends on the development time. Interim updates are possible, but these usually contain no new functions.

How Can I Find Out Which Software Version I Am Using? [Back]

When you start the software, a start-up image appears in the foreground. You can see the version number of your installed software at the bottom right of this image.

One of the "Settings" is "About...". There you will also find the version number.

Can I Save Projects I Have Started and Then Load Them and Continue Working on Them at a Later Date? [Back]

You can find the commands for saving a project ("Save" and "Save as") in the editor on the far left of the toolbar.

You can open saved projects in the header bar of the software under the button "File". Here you can open projects that you have already started and continue to edit them.

Your most recently modified projects will be listed immediately, so you can open them with one click.

If I Have Projects Saved in an Older Version of the Software, Can I Open Them in a Newer Version? [Back]

If you have CEWE PHOTOBOOKS that have been created with older software versions, you can open them in a newer version of the software. It is not possible, however, to open a project that has been saved with a newer software version.

How Can I Undo Processing Steps? [Back]

In the object tool selection in the "Editing" toolbar you will find the functions "Undo last action" and "Redo last undone action".

Undoes your last action. (Only active if an action has been previously carried out.)

"Redo last undone action" icon

Redoes the last command that you undid. It undoes the last "Undo last action". (Only active if an "Undo last action" was previously carried out.)

What Happens to My Work if the Software Crashes? [Back]

The software has an "Auto Save" function and saves your project in the background (an initial save is required).

If the software crashes and restarts, the "Automatic Restore" allows you to reload your project, including the latest (successfully completed) auto-save.
